The words that you say to yourself matters. Self-talk can have a big impact on your life and on your success. Self-talk is your inner voice, so if you’re constantly putting yourself down and judging yourself, you’ll eventually start to believe it, even if it is not true. Especially these days, with unknown circumstances, it's important not to make things worse than they are. What do you say to yourself in the mirror?
Positive self-talk is an optimistic voice:
I can do this!
I’m good enough.
Negative self-talk can make you miserable:
Nothing’s ever going to get better.
Instead of saying: I suck at this, say: I want to get better at this!
Work on replacing your negative self-talk with more positive self-talk, you’ll probably feel more in control and achieve your goals. Stay positive!
